About Usearth_arms

The International Bureau is the CBE department that is responsible for marketing, recruiting and placing international students into our schools.
Did you know that we also work to promote the development of a global mindset and to facilitate international opportunities for CBE students and staff?

CBEglobalconnect strives to make it easier for schools to access information, find good ideas, celebrate their success, connect with others and get involved globally.

We recognize that technology is essential for making connections to the world. Innovative Learning Services and the International Bureau will work with schools to give students and teachers opportunities to connect in a variety of ways.

Developing the “global" part of citizenship

CBE End 3 describes a "responsible citizen" as being an informed and involved member of his or her local, national and global communities.  In order to function in the world of tomorrow, students need to have global competencies.  These global competencies are gained from authentic participation with others from other countries, cultures and societies.  CBEglobalconnect is a vehicle through which students can collaborate with other students from around the world to work towards solutions to world problems, where teachers can connect with other teachers to share global perspectives on teaching, and where schools can find a way to make a difference in the world.
